TIPS for making THEATER RÉSUMÉS

-
Résumés highlighting your theater work are different from your typical business résumé.

-
All credits should be listed in REVERSE CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER - the most recent roles/work should be listed at the top and then work backwards. Think of it this way: If someone is going to skim your résumé, you want that person to know about your most recent work FIRST.

Check out THIS GUIDE created by CSU Bakersfield. It provides examples for anyone creating a theater résumé for the first time. It includes examples for actors, designers, directors, and a general résumé for someone with a variety of experience.
